#ScholarCrip

#ScholarCrip is a framework, community, and conversation about disabled knowledge production.

#ScholarCrip challenges narrow ideas about who counts as a scholar and what counts as expertise. It centers disabled ways of thinking, researching, writing, organizing, teaching, and living.

At present, it functions as a hashtag on LinkedIn and Bluesky, but we are aiming to expand to all social media platforms! Join by using #ScholarCrip on posts that amplify disabled scholarship.

The hashtag welcomes disabled academics, scholars, students, writers, artists, organizers, and community members whose work exists both inside and outside traditional institutions. It helps amplify disabled scholarship and encourages people to cite scholars with disabilities.

At its core, #ScholarCrip = disabled knowledge production in any form.
